Certificate of Qualification Exam
Effective February 29, 2016 all exams will be based on the 2015 BC Electrical Code, regardless of application date (please see the 2015 BC Electrical Code Adoption Information Bulletin).
To get your Field Safety Representative (FSR) Certificate of Qualification you need to write and pass the applicable exam. For more information about exams and to ask for the appropriate exam kit, please call 1-866-566-7233:

|Class A (ARD) FSR||A FSR for Alberta Certified Master Electrician|
|Class B FSR||750 volts or less, unlimited current|
|Class C FSR||240 volts, 200 amps or less, single phase|
|Class FE FSR||Full Entertainment|
|Class IN FSR||Instrument Mechanic|
|Class LE FSR||Limited Entertainment|
|Class LI FSR||Line Technician|
|Class LO FSR||Low Energy|
|Class RE FSR||Refrigeration|
|Class SA FSR||Security Alarm|
|Class UR FSR||Underground Raceway|
|Class WW FSR||Water Well|
To apply for your exam, complete the FSR Certification application Form 1013 and submit the form along with your payment and proof that you meet the minimum requirements for that class of exam. You will be required to provide original copies of documents. Notarized copies will also be accepted. Submit your application at any BCSA office.
Remember to bring photo identification when you write your exam.
